Amazing Day Spent in London with Amazing People

UnLtd and Santander's Spark Programme hosted  an innovative and exciting event on Wednesday 4th June;

Hatch Camp!

We  came together to share and build on your peer support ideas, being updated on what we have started on the programme so far and inviting me to join us in thinking bigger!

We were joined by leaders in social innovation, and in particular those that are involved with peer driven social enterprises.

We had delicious food from Food Cycle, and will also participated in our Mapathon of peer support on the day.

The day itself will was hosted by Swarm, and registration commenced at 9.30 am at Google Campus in London

The main objectives of the day were to
-     develop ideas for peer-to-peer support of social entrepreneurs
-    Create an opportunity for Spark Award winners to connect and learn new skills that will help them improve their businesses

I have never in my life been in the presence of so many amazing projects and social entrepreneurial passion and spirited people

Truly was an amazing day cant wait for the evaluation and summary

EVH HR Conference

Delighted to have been part of this day

HR Conference 2014

"When Worlds Collide" was the theme for our joint EVH/SHARE HR Conference which was held on 19th June at the Westerwood Hotel, Cumbernauld.

We felt this was an appropriate theme for a number of reasons this year, not least because of the Yes/No referendum on an Independent Scotland in September, and the impact on the Scottish workforce, but overall how do we shape our future as it’s a tough world out there, how do we keep engaged and energised?
Now in its 9th year, the conference kicked off with a wake-up/energiser session from Gavin Oates, Tree of Knowledge, and a session from Jason Miller, Founding Partner of Tinder-Box, on Unlocking Talent.

We hope all our delegates enjoyed the day and we look forward to seeing you at next years event.

Thanks Allan for inviting me along
